Poway Crash Sends Woman to Hospital
The woman swerved to miss an animal and landed over the side of the road, according to authorities.
A woman was sent to the hospital after driving over the side of the road Wednesday night on Scripps Poway Parkway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman was traveling alone in a silver Mercedes when she swerved to avoid hitting an animal around 11:47 p.m.
She sustained minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to Sharp Hospital.
