Poway Brush Fire Quickly Doused

The fire briefly threatened one home before firefighters knocked it out.

A small brush fire off Midland and Twin Peaks roads in Poway is out, a dispatcher said.

The blaze started around 3 p.m. Monday and scorched about three-quarters of an acre. The fire briefly threatened one home before crews knocked it out.

There were no structural damage or injuries reported.
