Poway Crime Report: Oct. 16-24

A juvenile was detained in Rancho Bernardo, suspected of stealing items from a vehicle in Poway.

Tuesday, Oct. 16

Three necklaces with a combined value of $700 were reported stolen from a building in the 1320 block of Civic Center Drive.

A 45-year-old male was arrested for being drunk in public in the 13600 block of Pomerado Road around 1 p.m.

A 55-year-old male was the victim of an assault with a deadly weapon, not a firearm, in the 13400 block of Pequot Drive. He had an apparent minor injury. No arrests were reported.

Wednesday, Oct. 17

A report of a suspicious person led to the arrest of a 41-year-old male for possession of concentrated cannabis and being a felon in possession of tear gas, both felonies, in the 13700 block of Stowe Drive around 11 p.m.

A bicycle valued at $550 was reported stolen in the 13400 block of Orange Blossom Lane.

A 26-year-old female was arrested for felony shoplifting from Walmart on Community Road. Clothing and food items valued at $97.86 were reported stolen.

A residential burglary was reported in the 13000 block of Avenida La Valencia. The loss was valued at $75.  

Thursday, Oct 18

A 35-year-old male was arrested for DUI in the 13300 block of Poway Road just after midnight.

Friday, Oct. 19

A juvenile was detained in Rancho Bernardo for petty theft from a vehicle in the 13300 block of Sutter Mill Road in Poway on Oct. 14. More than a dozen items were recovered.

A 25-year-old female was arrested for DUI in the 13100 block of Wanesta Drive just after 3 a.m.

A 49-year-old male was arrested for driving with a suspended license with a prior DUI conviction in the 13000 block of Twin Peaks Road around 1 p.m.

A 25-year-old male was arrested for DUI in the 13200 block of Poway Road around midnight.

A car valued at $10,000 was reported stolen in the 15600 block of Pomerado Road.

Saturday, Oct. 20

A 42-year-old male was arrested for DUI in the 14100 block of Rio Court just before 4 p.m.

A 21-year-old male was arrested for driving with a suspended license with a prior DUI conviction in the 12400 block of Oak Knoll Road around 11 p.m.  

Sunday, Oct. 21

A 20-year-old female and a 26-year-old male were cited and released for misdemeanor possession of fireworks without a permit in the 13000 block of Civic Center Drive.

A 21-year-old male was arrested for petty theft from a vehicle, tampering with a  vehicle, and being drunk in public, all misdemeanors, in the 13600 block of Sycamore Tree Lane around 1 a.m. An auto part valued at $25 was recovered, and damage to a car was estimated at $10,000. 

Monday, Oct. 22

A residential burglary was reported in the 12300 block of Teri Drive between 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Computer equipment valued at $4,480 was reported stolen.

A stolen car was recovered in the 15500 block of Pomerado Road.

Tuesday, Oct. 23

A truck valued at $8,000 was reported stolen in the 14400 block of Trailwind Road.

Two DVD players were reported stolen from Walmart on Community Road.

Wednesday, Oct. 24

The theft of $175 worth of metal was reported from a restaurant in the 12400 block of Poway Road.
