Police Seek Female Accomplice in PQ Masked Robberies

San Diego police think a woman may have been part of two robberies with a suspect in a skeleton mask.

San Diego police are looking for a woman they think may have been an accomplice in a pair of at a Rancho Peñasquitos convenience store last week.

Before the primary suspect—a man in a skeleton mask—entered the Circle K on Paseo Montalban in the Feb. 29 and March 1 robberies, the same woman came into the store as well, according to a San Diego Police Department news release.

The same clerk was working at the Circle K during both robberies and noticed the same woman come into the store both times, according to police.

The suspected accomplice is described as a 5-foot-5-inch medium to heavy build Hispanic woman in her 30s with brown hair and blond highlights who was wearing black capri pants and a black nylon jacket with a red collar (see attached photos).

The primary suspect—the man in the mask—is described as a 5-foot-5-inch to 5-foot-8-inch Hispanic male weighing about 180 pounds. During the robberies, the suspect wore a skeleton mask and matching gloves. Both suspects were captured on surveillance video.

The was reported around 3 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 29; at 4:30 a.m. Thursday, March 1. The suspect was given money and cigarettes after lifting his shirt to display a handgun in his waistband, police said.
