Police Search for Video Game Store Robber

Authorities said the gunman pistol-whipped an employee while robbing a video game store in Mira Mesa.

San Diego police were on the lookout today for a gunman who pistol-whipped an employee while robbing a video game store in Mira Mesa.

A lone gunman robbed the Gamestop store at 8135 Mira Mesa Blvd. around 9 p.m. Monday, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.

The pistol-whipped employee was not injured and the robber got away on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, he said.

Police described the gunman as black, in his 20s and around 5 feet 11, last seen wearing a black mask, black hoodie and jeans.
