Crime Log: Man Steals Drugs, Paraphernalia from Pomerado Hospital
The following incidents from July 16-22 were listed at the Sheriff's Department Poway substation.
July 16: Residential burglary was reported at the 13500 block of Orchard Gate Road. An electronic component and other miscellaneous items, valued at a total of $1,050, were reported stolen from a home.
July 16: A citation was given at the 14500 block of Pomerado Road. A 35-year-old man was cited for driving with a suspended license.
July 16: Property was found at the 13100 block of Bowron Road. Miscellaneous ammunition was found.
July 17: Burglary of a vehicle was reported at 13200 block of Powers Court. Miscellaneous items, valued at $300, were reported stolen from a vehicle
July 17: Petty theft was reported at the 12400 block of Robison Boulevard. Miscellaneous items, valued at $800, was reported stolen from a vehicle.
July 17: An arrest was made at the 12500 block of Oak Knoll Road. A 25-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of assault with intent to commit rape.
July 17: Hit and run was reported at the 13600 block of Sycamore Tree Lane. Property damage was reported.
July 17: An arrest was made at the 800 block of Stone Canyon Road. Credit card fraud was reported. A 29-year-old woman was arrested on probable cause of driving under the influence.
July 18: Petty theft was reported at the 13300 block of Silver Lake Drive. Automotive parts, valued at $800, were reported stolen from a vehicle.
July 18: Petty theft was reported at the 14000 block of Powers Road. Automotive parts, valued at $800, were reported from a vehicle.
July 18: Stolen vehicle was reported at the 12600 block of Poway Road. Avis Rent-a-Car reported a stolen white SUV, valued at about $4,000.
July 18: Petty theft was reported at the 13000 block of Berlin Street. Automotive parts, valued at $400, were reported from a vehicle.
July 18: Commercial burglary was reported at the 13400 block of Poway Road. An 18-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of shoplifting liquor from Von's.
July 18: Battery was reported at the 13500 block of Community Road. A 21-year-old man had an apparent minor injury.
July 18: An arrest was made at the intersection of Community Road and Hilleary Place. A 27-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of possessing/purchasing for sale a controlled substance.
July 19: Discharge of a firearm was reported at the 200 block of East Via Rancho Parkway.
July 19: Battery was reported at the intersection of Parkway Centre Drive and Danielson Street. A 40-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of threatening an executive officer with violence and using a controlled substance.
July 19: Battery was reported at the intersection of Scripps Poway Parkway and Parkway Centre Drive. A 35-year-old woman was arrested on probable cause of spousal abuse with minor injury.
July 19: Drugs were found at the 13100 block of Bowron Road. Prescription and non-prescription items were found.
July 19: Fraud was reported at the 12800 block of Stone Canyon Road. Credit card fraud was reported.
July 19: Petty theft was reported at the 13400 block of Poway Road. A black and white bicycle, valued at $670, was reported stolen.
July 19: A citation was given on Pomerado Road. A 42-year-old man was cited for driving without a license.
July 19: Property was found at the intersection of Pomerado and Glenoak Roads. Automotive parts were found.
July 20: An arrest was made at the intersection of Aubrey Street and York Avenue. A 50-year-old woman was arrested on probable cause of driving under the influence.
July 20: Petty theft was reported at the 15600 block of Pomerado Road. Pomerado Hospital reported miscellaneous stolen drugs and drug paraphernalia. According to Sgt. David Cheever, a patient stole the drugs from a crash cart in the ER before he was transported to a mental institution. The sergeant said the drugs were found en route to the location and recovered.
July 20: An arrest was made at the 13000 block of Civic Center Drive. A 57-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of being drunk in public.
July 20: Commercial burglary was reported at the 12200 block of Scripps Poway Parkway. Yanni's Bistro reported burglary.
July 21: An arrest was made at the 13000 block of Civic Center Drive. A 48-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of being drunk in public.
July 21: Property was found at the 17700 block of Valle Verde Road. A red and silver bicycle, valued at $1,000, was found.
July 21: An arrest was made at the 13000 block of Civic Center Drive. A 53-year-old man was arrested for being drunk in public.
July 21: Commercial burglary was reported at the 14000 block of Kirkham Way. A camera, computer equipment and a flashlight, valued at a total of about $1,600, were reported stolen.
July 21: Commercial burglary was reported at the 14000 block of Stowe Drive. Teledyne RD Instruments reported at stolen computer, valued at $2,800.
July 22: Property was found at the 12900 block of Bowron Road. A green bicycle was found.
July 22: Commercial burglary was reported at the 13500 block of Community Road. City of Poway reported miscellaneous office equipment, a radio, a flashlight and a computer, all valued at a total of $1,070, stolen.
July 22: An arrest was made at the 13600 block of Hilleary Place. A 46-year-old man was arrested on probable cause of violating a domestic relations court order and a misdemeanor bench warrant.
July 22: Petty theft was reported at the 13400 block of Community Road. A 32-year-old man was cited on probable cause of shoplifting from Walmart.
July 22: Petty theft was reported at the 12600 block of Poway Road. A wallet, ID and keys were reported stolen from a building.
