Car Crash on Twin Peaks Sends Motorcyclist to Hospital

A Monday evening crash sends a motorcyclist to Pomerado Hospital for surgery.

A motorcyclist was transported to Pomerado Hospital Monday evening after a vehicle struck him.

According to Poway Fire Department Chief Mark Sanchez, paramedics arrived at the scene near Twin Peaks Road and Twin Circle Way approximately 6:34 p.m.

The motorcyclist, who may have been struck by the vehicle twice, suffered multiple fractions to his upper and lower extremities and abrasions to his chest, prompting paramedics to take him to the hospital, where he was immediately taken into surgery.

The motorcyclist is a male in his mid-50s.

As of Tuesday afternoon, no other details of the accident are available.
