Authorities Seek Man Who Robbed Piccadilly Market

The armed robber escaped with about $600-$700.

San Diego County sheriff's deputies are looking for a man who robbed market at gunpoint Thursday morning.

The robbery happened at around 9 a.m. when authorities responded to an emergency call placed by a clerk at the market, located on the corner of Espola and Twink Peak roads, according to Lt. Jim Walker.

The man, described as a white male in his 30s wearing jeans and a gray jacket, escaped on foot with about $600-$700.
