Suspect Sought in Poway Bank Robbery

The US Bank on Scripps Poway Parkway was robbed on Tuesday.

Authorities are asking the public for help in identifying a man responsible for robbing a Poway bank on Tuesday.

The robbery happened at about 5:32 p.m. at the US Bank branch on Scripps Poway Parkway. The suspect is described to be a white male, approximately 30-35 years old, approximately 5 feet 9 inche to 6 feet tall and about 180 pounds with a medium build.

He was wearing a white baseball cap with a “NY” logo, a white long-sleeve dress shirt, grey t-shirt, dark jeans, and black shoes with white trim.

According to the Sheriff’s Department, the robber got away with $369.
