Volunteers Needed for Local Non-Profit OASIS in Escondido
San Diego OASIS-Escondido is seeking volunteers ages 50+ to be part of the CATCH- "Coordinated-Approach-to-Child-Health" Healthy Habits program. Through fun activities and lessons, volunteers will be educating children grades K-5 about healthy eating habits and exercise.
CATCH creates special relationships between the aging community and children, while helping reduce childhood obesity.
New volunteer training will be held for everyone interested in volunteering for CATCH Healthy Habits, on Friday, October 11, 2013, at 12:30 p.m. at the Escondido Senior Center.
