Sunday’s Spring Festival Has Something to Tempt Everyone

Live music, tons of food and offerings from other local businesses will be attracting crowds to Midland Road.

The annual Spring Street Festival will take over a portion of Midland Road on Sunday, hosting a variety of vendors showcasing local businesses in the Poway community and around San Diego.

For the first time ever, the Spring Festival will host an array of food trucks alongside the regular food vendors for attendees to discover and enjoy.

This family-friendly event will be held on Midland Rd. between Poway Rd. and Hilleary Place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“This year’s Poway Spring Festival will again prove to be a fun day for all attendees. Along with our local businesses and fair vendors, we will have several San Diego food trucks offering a variety of delicious delights,” says Luanne Hulsizer, Poway Chamber president and CEO.

The main stage will feature music from bands Kanan Road (performing from 11:45 a.m -1:45 p.m.) and Audio Junkyard (performing from 2:45 p.m.-3:45p.m.), as well as an educational presentation from the San Diego Zoo’s Dr. Zoolittle at 10:15 a.m. and 2 p.m. The kids’ area will include activities from organizations such as the city of Poway, The San Diego Zoo, and California Wolf Center.
