Poway Forecast: More Hot Weather on the Way

Near-record temperatures will bake Poway this week.

The calendar may say that it’s fall, but it will continue to feel like summer this week.

The National Weather Service is warning that Monday and Tuesday will bring very hot and dry weather all over Southern California, elevating the risk of wildfire.

Sunday afternoon: Sunny, with a high near 96. West wind around 10 mph.

Sunday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 63. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 101. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west in the morning.

Monday night: Clear, with a low around 64. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable.

Tuesday night: Sunny, with a high near 96. East wind around 5 mph becoming west in the morning.

Tuesday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 62.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 91.
