Be Cool This Weekend at WinterFest

Poway's annual WinterFest begins Friday and continues through Monday.

This weekend, Poway has the “coolest” holiday event around—and it lasts four days!

Poway’s begins this Friday and residents can enjoy an icy weekend of fun. Kids can keep busy and get creative with arts and crafts. Those who want to show off their pipes can take a stab at karaoke, and live music will provide the soundtrack during the weekend.

All four days also offer up skating for families. The skate rink will be open each day from 1-9 p.m. Skating tickets are available for $5 for youth 17 and under (must sign this waiver), $7 for adults and $20 for a family of four.

Skate rental is included, but skaters may bring their own. Advance tickets may be purchased here, but please note that on-line transactions will incur a $1.50 processing fee per order.

The peak of the WinterFest will be on Dec. 17, when Snow Hill makes its debut. Families can sled down a hill of snow and experience the true spirit of the holidays. Hang on tight!
