RALLY TO SUPPORT POWAY ADULT DAY HEALTH CARE CENTER

The State of California is in the process of trying to close all the 300 adult day health care centers by December 1st by eliminating Medi-Cal as the principal funding source for these centers.  The Poway Adult Day Health Care Center that has been serving the elders in our community will not have the medical care they are currently receiving.  Poway is leading the way in this county where there are 21 centers to protest this closure.  The U.S. District Court in Oakland will be conducting a hearing on this same day.  Shop support and send the message, "This is not the way to treat our elders!"
