Poway High School Jazz Festival

The annual Poway High School Jazz Festival will be held on Monday,
April 28th at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts. The festival will
feature 16 jazz bands from four Middle Schools and six High Schools from across
San Diego County with many schools featuring more than one band. As an added
attraction the Sand Diego State University Big Band, under the direction of
Bill Yeager, will bring the festival to a close. Performances start at 1 PM
with a half hour break at 5:30 PM. The advanced jazz bands will start the
evening program at 6 PM with the San Diego State University Big Band performing
at 9 PM. A one-time admission (good for the entire
day of Jazz) is $5 at the door for adults. 
Students are free of charge. For more information including list of
