A Readers Theatre
Presentation: It’s Martin’s 50th birthday, and he’s lost his grip on
reality because he’s having an affair. With Sylvia—she of the limpid brown
eyes, dainty feet that barely touch the earth and beguiling, twitching tail. He
is completely swept away by an engulfing passion that has turned his world
upside down. But when Martin’s wife, Stevie, finds out about his secret paramour,
he’s got a lot of explaining
to do! The Goat, or Who is Sylvia? is
a provocative, edgy and uncomfortable story about a seemingly happy man coming face to
face with his own loneliness. This show is intended for
mature audiences.
