Boardwalk Craft Market in Old Poway Park
The Boardwalk Craft Market is now every Saturday until Christmas on the Hamburger Factory & Historical Society boardwalk in Old Poway Park from 8 AM to 2 PM. A Poway tradition since 1993, the Boardwalk Craft Market is a juried show of contemporary artists working in traditional crafts.
The artists bring their latest creations, so there is always something new and different. Items may include handblown glass, porcelain & stoneware pottery, kitchenware, adult & children's clothing, quilts, toys & dolls, games & puzzles, beadwork & jewelry, and paintings and decorations for the home & garden.
This week we welcome new ceramic artist Sandra Segovia with her hand-built vases, sushi plates and organic sculptures. Award-winning artist and educator Muriel Meador will return with her colorful prints and holiday cards.
The Saturday morning Farmers Market has moved to Midland Road in front of Old Poway Park. The Park is still open to both cars and pedestrians during Farmers Market hours. Follow the signs to the Hamburger Factory parking lot where you'll find lots of parking spaces within the Park just steps from the Boardwalk Craft Market.
