MOONLIGHT AND MAGNOLIAS

• What's Up: Scripps Ranch Theatre's current production will take the audience to Hollywood in 1939. David O. Selznick locked a writer and director in his office finish the script for the movie “Gone With The Wind.”
• When: 8 p.m. on Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15 and 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 16.

ARTIST EXHIBITION RECEPTION

• What’s Up: Meet and greet with artist Soo-Yang Kang and her students. Check out her artwork showcased at the library.

TASTE OF OUR TOWNE II

• What’s Up: Poway Center for the Performing Arts will host evening of dancing, food and wine from local vendors, games, prizes and more. Proceeds will benefit the  Poway Center for the Performing Arts Foundation’s Arts in Education Initiative and Professional Performance Series.

THE KUMEYAAY AT BLUE SKY

• What’s Up: Learn all about how the Kumeyaay used Blue Sky as a resource to find food, medicine and shelter on a docent led tour.
