San Diego Storms Hit Laguna Mountains

Up to two feet of snow along Sunrise Highway has brought San Diegans out to play in a winter wonderland.

Sunrise Highway off state Route 79 was cleared of snow Saturday so that San Diegans could come play in what could be the last big snow storm of the year.

Arturo Lomeli of National City brought his snowboard and his family brought plastic sleds to play in the snow. Lomeli brings his family to Laguna mountains every winter after snow falls.

"We usually go to Big Bear, but this is closer," he said.
