Rising Gas Prices Reach Late 2008 Level

More pain at the pump as prices continue to rise.

1. A gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose to an average price of $3.397 a gallon on Sunday, the highest average since Oct. 14, 2008, according to AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has gone up for five consecutive days and the average price of a gallon is 5.9 cents more than a week ago and 41.4 cents more than a year ago.
