Rain Expected to Return This Week

The National Weather Service is forecasting a wet Wednesday, but the skies should clear by the weekend.

The overcast skies over Poway are expected to linger for most of the week, and more wet weather is on the way.

The National Weather Service predicts that rain will move in midweek, with a 100 percent chance of precipitation on Wednesday night. Heavy rain and even lightning are possible.

The good news is that the clouds and showers are expected to move on by the weekend, with sunny skies and pleasant temperatures set for Saturday and Sunday.
