Poway Fire Department to Host Open House

Attention parents, kids, and families! Check out an open house where learning about fire safety is fun and useful.

Need to brush up on fire safety? Bring the kids and learn how to do the stop, drop and roll at the annual Poway Fire Department open house.

On Oct. 6, head over to the Fire Training Tower, 12335 Crosthwaite Circle, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Spend the morning watching fire truck demonstrations, spraying a target with a fire hose and scarfing down a few hot dogs.

Kids of all ages can have fun and even learn something too.

The Kid’s Safety House will allow kids to learn fire safety and ways to prevent burns. There will also be fire clowns all the way from Santee’s Fire Department.

The open house is welcome for all members of the community and visitors.
