Poway Adult Day Health Center Remains Open... for Now

State budget cuts that could close the center postponed until next year.

The doors are still open at the , though worries continue.

The center, which provides weekday care for 120 seniors, is one of 274 centers in California that still face state budget cuts and possible closure. The cuts were scheduled to take effect Dec. 1, but a lawsuit settlement pushed the closure to Feb. 29.
