County Gas Prices 76 Cents Higher Than a Year Ago

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose Tuesday for the 10th time in 11 days.

The average price is 10 cents higher than one week ago, 1.1 cents more than one month ago and 76 cents above what it was at this time last year, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The living space for the home Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney plans to build in La Jolla would be about 8,200 square feet, according to plans submitted to the city of San Diego's Development Services Department and obtained Monday by City News Service. The total space for the home would be 11,000 square feet, which includes the basement and garage, according to a city of San Diego spokesperson.

3. A fertility center affiliated with UC San Diego Monday reported the first two pregnancies in San Diego County from flash-frozen human eggs. The Reproductive Partners-UC San Diego Regional Fertility Center announced that two of three patients who underwent the procedure are now pregnant, one with twins.
