Man Stabbed at Chargers-Raiders Game

Police say there is no suspect description.

1. A 25-year-old man was stabbed during a fight in the Qualcomm Stadium parking lot during Thursday's San Diego Chargers-Oakland Raiders game. A fight broke out between two men around 7:30 p.m. and one of the men was stabbed in the abdomen and taken to a trauma center with a non-life threatening wound, said Officer David Stafford of the San Diego Police Department. The victim was not cooperating with police and there is no suspect description, Stafford said. Police were unsure what caused the fight.

2. San Diego Superior Court Judge Gonzalo P. Curiel is among four men nominated Thursday by President Barack Obama to serve on the U.S. District Court bench. Prior to his appointment to the Superior Court bench, Curiel spent 17 years as a federal prosecutor.

3. Most government offices will be closed Friday in observance of Veterans Day.
