Kobe Bryant Allegedly Injures San Diego Man

1. San Diego police Tuesday were investigating a man's claim that he was injured by Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant during an
incident at a Carmel Valley church.
The alleged incident took place at St. Therese of Carmel on Sunday. Bryant was attending a church service and thought someone was taking pictures of him with a cellphone, according to broadcast reports. Police said that Bryant took the phone from the man but saw no pictures on it, then left the church.
The man alleged that his wrist was injured when Bryant snatched the phone. The man went to a hospital for treatment of his injury, according to broadcast reports. The extent of the alleged injury was unclear.

2. Home sales in San Diego County dropped 0.9 percent in July, compared to the same month a year ago, while prices dipped by 3.8
percent, a real estate information service announced Monday. A total of 3,041 homes changed hands locally last month, compared to 3,070 in July 2010, according to La Jolla-based MDA DataQuick. The median price of a home in Riverside County in July was $325,000, down from $338,000 in July 2010.
