Father's Day in the Crute Family is an invitation for the men to do what they do best: Jim Crute, the owner of Poway's Lightning Brewery, brings the beer. His father, 82-year-old George Crute, brings the pig.
"My dad would do a pig roast every year,” Jim Crute told U-T San Diego. “Ever since I’ve been out here in San Diego, I’ve had to go back [to Connecticut] for Father’s Day for the pig roast and bring the beer.”
