Frost Advisory Issued for Poway After Snow Drops

Snow dropped in several parts of Poway Saturday night.

1. Some Powegians may have seen some snow Saturday night. According to the National Weather Service, snow dropped in parts of Poway at just 1300 feet. A frost advisory has also been issued for Poway that begins 9 p.m. Sunday until 9 a.m. Monday.

2. The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose 3.9 cents Saturday to $3.718, one day after increasing 6.1 cents. The 23rd increase in 25 days pushed the average price to its highest amount since Sept. 19, 2008, and 16.7 cents higher than a week ago, 37 cents above what it was one month ago and 74.5 cents greater than it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

3. The Maritime Museum of San Diego will host its Winter Family Day, with craft activities and a cruise of the bay aboard the historic Pilot.
