Wednesday is July 11, otherwise known as 7-Eleven Day to fans of the nation’s largest chain of convenience stores. Poway’s three locations—two of them not even a mile apart on Pomerado Road—will be celebrating 7-Eleven’s 85th birthday with free Slurpees from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The frosty 7.11-ounce treat will help beat the heat expected to hit Poway this week. Say “happy birthday” to 7-Eleven at Wednesday’s free Slurpee celebration.
