DA's Office Mourns Death of Deputy Attorney

Christine Trevino, a deputy district attorney, shot herself in the head on Thursday.

1. Lawyers in the San Diego County District Attorney's Office today were mourning the suicide of a prosecutor who shot herself in the head during a traffic stop. Christine Trevino, 51, died about 6:35 p.m. Thursday after she was pulled over by Carlsbad police at the Oceanside Shopping Center in the 2100 block of Vista Way.
