SWEET SUMMER ICE CREAM SOCIAL
What's Up: The Boys and Girls Club will host an ice cream social benefitting The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego and the Boys and Girls Club of Southwest Riverside. Ice cream floats will be available for sale. 
When: Noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 22. 
Where: Barons Market, 11828 Rancho Bernardo Rd., Rancho Bernardo. 
Price: $2. 

KID'S NIGHT OUT
What's Up: Attention parents, drop off the kids and you all can enjoy a night out! Kid's Night Out is for grades 1-5 and will feature recreation games, arts and crafts, movies and more. 
When: 4:30 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 22. 
Where: Community Park, 13094 Civic Center Dr., Poway.
Price: Free. 

SUMMER MOVIES IN THE PARK: THE LORAX
What's Up: Head to the park and enjoy the show. Summer Movies in the Park will feature a concert from the band Alias and movie showing of The Lorax.
When: 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 22. 
Where:  Carmel Mountain Ranch Community Park, 10152 Rancho Carmel Dr.
Price: Free. 

RB FREEDOM RUN AND WALK
What's Up: Strap on your running shoes and help raise money for The Spirit of the Fourth. Freedom Run and Walk will feature 5k run and 1-mile. Proceeds will benefit Rancho Bernardo's July 4th festivities, parade, music and fireworks show.
When: 8 a.m. on Sunday, June 23. 
Where: Rancho Bernardo Community Park, 18402 W Bernardo Dr., Rancho Bernardo. 
Price: $15-$35.

SUMMER CONCERT IN THE PARK
What's Up: Sharp Memorial Hospital will host the Summer Concerts in the Park Series. The concert will feature a Johnny Cash tribute by Rusty Evans and Ring of Fire. 
When: 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 23. 
Where: Lake Poway 14644 Lake Poway Rd., Poway.
