A New Editor for Poway Patch

Shauntel Lowe is the new editor of Poway Patch.

I debated about how to introduce myself and decided keeping it simple is probably the best way. As of today, I am the new editor of Poway Patch. I may be a vaguely familiar face to some of you, as I've been the editor of Rancho Bernardo Patch since it first launched in October 2010.

Tom Roebuck is moving to a new position within Patch—Field Editor—which will keep him working on San Diego County projects, so you may see him from time to time still. He's excited about this new challenge and I'm happy that I will still be able to work with him. I will also continue to be a co-editor over at RB Patch.

Even though the editor is changing, I plan to continue Tom's great job of keeping everyone in Poway informed about what's going on. I've been covering the Poway Unified School District, along with Tom, and will continue to do so.

You can click on my byline for a bit more about my background, but the most important thing to know is that I am here to do my best to serve Poway's readers.

Always feel free to email me with any comments, questions or suggestions. I look forward to getting to meet as many of you as I can!
