3.4-Magnitude Aftershock Rattles San Diego County

A pair of aftershocks rattled San Diego County on Saturday.

1. A pair of aftershocks—one of them magnitude 3.4—struck the Imperial Valley and eastern San Diego County Saturday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The 3.4 aftershock was centered about 35 miles south-southeast of Mexicali, or about 135 miles east-southeast of San Diego. It hit at 8:11 a.m.

2. The Santana High School shooting 10 years ago was remembered Saturday during a brief memorial attended by more than 75 people. Santee Mayor Randy Voepel organized the service after school district officials decided to make their memorial private. See Santee Patch's full coverage .

3. Expect another beautiful day in Poway Sunday. It will be mostly sunny with temperatues in the 70s.
