17th Annual Community Band Festival to Conclude Sunday
The family friendly event hosted by the Pomerado Community Band and the Poway Arts & Crafts Guild is being held at Old Poway Park.
1. Some 200 San Diego County law enforcement officers took part Saturday in a memorial run to honor colleagues killed in the line of duty. They ran along a 2.5-mile stretch of Carlsbad Boulevard as a group to symbolize unity, said Fiona Everett, senior management analyst for the Carlsbad Police Department.
