O'Harley's Sports Bar & Grill

Interested in local real estate?Subscribe to Patch's new newsletter to be the first to know about open houses, new listings and more.

O'Harley's Sports Bar & Grill, located at 13437 Community Rd. in Poway, is not your typical sports bar. What sets O'Harley's apart? Employee Tom Russo explains: "We're one of Poway's best-kept secrets. ... We are a family-owned business and our recipes come from home–you know, Italy."

O'Harley's has been in business for 10 years. Patrons have spread the word about the home-cooked spaghetti and meatballs and lasagna dishes that set this bar apart.

The owner's mother "brings the Italian flair," says waitress and bartender Patricia McDonough. "It's not just bar food, it is good food."

If Italian food by itself doesn't attract you to O'Harley's, then maybe the Sunday 9 a.m. breakfast specials and the NFL ticket will. Some of the specials include:

  • $2 quarter-pound hamburgers
  • $3 pizza bread
  • $2 Coors Lights
  • $4 Bloody Marys

All of this can be enjoyed while watching any NFL game on any of the five plasma screens or two flat-screen TVs.
