The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose Friday for the third time since July 19, increasing three-tenths of a cent to $3.843.
The average price decreased 33 times in 34 days, then rose two-tenths of a cent on Tuesday, fell four-tenths of a cent Wednesday and increased three- tenths of a cent on Thursday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The cheapest gas in Poway can be found for $3.63 per gallon at the ARCO at 12805 Poway Rd. or Costco on Tech Center Drive.
Further increases to the pump price are expected because of climbing prices for wholesale gasoline and crude oil stemming from concerns that a U.S. military attack in Syria could lead to a disruption in the flow of oil from the Middle East.
