"The Secret Garden" A Tabletops and Tea Fundraiser from Poway's Rady Children's Hospital Auxiliary set for May 6th

The 9th annual Tabletops and Tea fundraiser hosted by the Poway Unit of Rady Children's Hospital Auxiliary will be held May 6, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the Rancho Bernardo Inn. Tickets are $75.00 and all proceeds will benefit The Helen Bernardy Center for Medically Fragile Children. To purchase a ticket contact Deborah Oliver at markndebo@cox.net or Cori Lombardi at mikeandcori@cox.net. Tickets must be purchased in advance of the event.

Co-Chair Deborah Oliver notes “last year we raised over $50,000 and we expect to exceed that this year.”  Co-Chair Cori Lombardi added “The event continues to grow in popularity and the Auxiliary members raise the bar each year with the décor and prizes.”

This year's event will embody a secret garden atmosphere.  As guests enter the elegant Rancho Bernardo Inn they will stroll through a bucolic walkway and admire the elaborate, floral-inspired tabletops. Before enjoying a luncheon with tea service they will browse and shop the unique collection of boutique offerings. A silent auction will feature many one-of-a-kind prizes and some gorgeous centerpieces will be offered in a raffle. The afternoon will culminate in an opportunity drawing where fortunate guests will win each of the extravagant tabletops!
