County Gas Prices Drop to Lowest Amount Since Feb. 25

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline is $3.70.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County fell Monday to its lowest amount since Feb. 25, dropping seven-tenths of a cent to $3.70.

The 19th consecutive daily decline pushed the average price 6.5 cents lower than one week ago and 14.4 cents less than a month ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. However, the average price is 55.5 cents more than a year ago.

The average price has fallen 14.7 cents over the past 19 days, including three-tenths of a cent on Sunday.
