Cheesecake Factory Brings its Treats to North County
The first Cheesecake Factory in northern San Diego County is slated to open at Westfield North County by the holidays.
It's going to get even more difficult to keep your sweet tooth in check starting this holiday season.
The Cheesecake Factory has announced plans to open a new 7,500-square foot location at Westfield North County—just a few freeway exits from Poway—right as your home fills with cookies and candy for the holidays.
"We are pleased to be opening our first Cheesecake Factory in north San Diego County and look forward to serving guests from the local community,” said Alethea Rowe, senior director of public relations, in the announcement.
The restaurant, which has a menu with 250 options that go beyond dessert, typically hires 300 new employees for each location. This new location, near the second floor mall entrance by Macy's and Target, will have more than 200 seats inside, and another 60 on an outdoor patio.
There are two other Cheesecake Factory locations in San Diego County at Fashion Valley Mall and the Otay Ranch Town Center in Chula Vista.
