Local Non-Profit Aims to Help Other Non-Profits Increase Fundraising Power

Are you a member of a non-profit group that could use some help sharpening its fundraising and recruiting skills while getting money to help your cause? The San Diego Social Venture Partners is here to help.

A new program launched by SDSVP is calling on all non-profit organizations in San Diego County to participate in Advance! San Diego, a program that provides coaching for nonprofits that want to learn how to more effectively present their mission to potential funders and volunteers.

Nonprofits that are accepted into the program also have a shot at winning more than $50,000 in cash and in-kind services. And on Nov. 13, 10 nonprofits will get to present their cause to a panel of experts and an audience filled with potential investors, businesses leaders and media outlets.

“This event is a big win for the non-profits, as they will receive invaluable training in our workshops on how to craft and communicate their important message,” stated Martin Goodman, Chair of Advance! San Diego.

Everyone is encouraged to apply online. The deadline is Sept. 12 at 5 p.m.
