Music Fest Needs Help

The Poway High School Concert Festival will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at the . Slots are still available for volunteers; the online signup sheet has several different jobs to choose from.

Friday Still Fine-Free

All will be closed on Friday, observing the birthday of Cesar Chavez. People with overdue items can still take advantage of the library’s Fine-Free Friday program—on the last Friday of the month all county-owned, overdue materials can be returned without a fine. Items left in the drop-off box after the library closes on Thursday at 8 p.m. and before it opens Saturday at 9:30 p.m. will have the fines waived. If the drop-off box is full, look for the blue drop-off slot that feeds into the building.

Soccer for SIDS

is hosting a three-on-three soccer tournament on Saturday, April 7, benefitting No More SIDS, a non-profit dedicated to preventing sudden infant death syndrome. The deadline for entering a team is Sunday, April 1, and a copy of the team application is attached to this story.
