Poway Duo Star at Comic-Con — Playing Guitars for Passers-By

Jacob Ugalde and Will Tindall weren't part of the official program, but they entertained convention-goers from a grassy strip.

Jacob Ugalde and Will Tindall, both of Poway, celebrated popular culture Saturday at Comic-Con—but not by dressing up as superheroes or previewing Hollywood blockbusters inside the San Diego Convention Center.

Instead, they opened up guitar cases and played for the parade of Con-goers on the grass.

Tindall, a Poway High graduate, sang We Will Fall Together by Streetlight Manifesto awaiting currency falling into their cases.

Keeping with the spirit, Dirk Hagen of Pasadena greeted crowds on Fifth Avenue with a hand-controlled zombie clinging to his chest and growling at visitors.

“May I take a picture of you,” said one visitor.

“Yes, of course!” said Miles.
