Free Fun for Kids During October

Attractions all over San Diego County are letting kids in for free this month.

The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is a short drive from Poway, and October is a good time for families to make the trip, since kids age 3 to 11 can get in for free.

The park formerly known as the Wild Animal Park, along with the San Diego Zoo, has admitted children for free in October for more than 25 years. Now other attractions throughout the county have added to the fun by offering freebies to families, including 36 museums and dozens of other offers from hotels and restaurants.

In Poway, kids 15 and under can play for free at Maderas Golf Club all month, after 3 p.m. and with a paying adult. Click here for the online coupon.

Nearby in RB, kids can eat and drink for free with the Kids Rule, Ghouls Drool package at the Rancho Bernardo Inn. The one-night offer includes accommodations, activities, a welcome trick-or-treat pumpkin, starting at $229. Click here for the online coupon.
