Old Poway Park Action Committee member, San Diego Folk Heritage, celebrates Sam Hinton with the annual Sam Hinton Folk Festival.

  • Join the family country dance
  • Showcase your talent on the open mic stage
  • Ride the steam locomotive train for a nominal fee

Bring your instruments! There will be jamming under the trees in the picnic area. Follow the music!(You might want to bring a folding chair.)

  • 1:00-3:00......... Contra Dance. Caller: Chris Page. Live music by Ranting Banshee
  • 3:30-5:00......... International Folk Dance--line dancing. No partner required. Teacher: Mary Marshall
