The puppet ministry from Hope Lutheran Church in Temecula will perform the musical, Once Upon a Parable, at 7 p.m. Friday. The show portrays a group of storytellers who try to capture the humor and flavor of the parables and use them to retell the Jesus story. For all ages. Donations will be accepted for the team's travel expenses.
The next day, the Greater San Diego Community Chorus performs selections from Bach's canon, with six soloists and accompanists on organ, bass and cello. The free concert begins at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Donations will be accepted.
