The big event is just around the corner!

"Poway's Got Talent" is an exciting and entertaining talent showcase and fundraiser for Poway High School Student Groups.

The student performers are selling tickets this week during lunch periods in the quad. Tickets will also be sold in the PCPA lobby at the two PHS Orchestra and Band Pre-Festival concerts on Wed., and Thurs., nights, March 2 and 3. The public may also contact Michelle Bourget at mjbourget@cox.net . Tickets will also be at the door.

The event will be emceed by Titan News Today’s own Weatherman, Zach Gelwix, and PHS Booster fave, Larry (“LL PooleJay”) Poole.

Participating Groups are:

• PHS Dance Team will perform a medley of dances and solos.
• PHS Cheer - The JV and Varsity squads will perform two competition routines.
• PHS AVID will give a rap performance.
• PHS Percussion Ensemble will peform their musical selection.
• PHS Peer Counseling will perform a A Harry Potter Musical Parody
• PHS Speech and Debate will perform a skit.
• PHS Senior Emily Cade will present a Musical Performance for her Senior Project.
• PHS Winter Guard will perform their competitive routine.
• PHS Jazz Band will perform various musical pieces.
• We'll also have performances by The Saxy Men, Cello Fellows, and two snares in-between the acts.
