Cavalia: A Magical Encounter Between Human and Horse is an innovative multi-media and multi-disciplinary production created by Normand Latourelle, one of the co-founders of famed Cirque du Soleil, currently performing in San Diego. The show is performing through Dec. 30, under its signature White Big Top, in the parking lot adjacent to Petco Park, downtown.

A winner will be selected at random. All comments must be in by 6 p.m. PST on Wednesday, Dec. 19. The winner will be announced 8 a.m. PST on Thursday, Dec. 20.
Enjoyed by some 3.5 million people, Cavalia is a lavish production involving 50 magnificent horses and featuring 42 riders, aerialists, acrobats, dancers and musicians from all over the world. A show unlike any other, Cavalia celebrates the relationship between humans and horses, virtually reinventing the equestrian arts.
In Cavalia, horses cavort with the many artists in front of a constantly changing digital background projected onto a 200-feet wide screen, drawing spectators into dream-like virtual environments. Unlike traditional horse shows, Cavalia’s audience faces a single 160-foot-wide stage which allows the horses space to gallop at full speed, at times running completely free, unfettered by bridles or halters. Cavalia takes place under a white, 26,264-square-foot big top, rising some 110-feet high that gives the horses an ample playground to perform with their trainers and artists.
Must be a legal resident of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia who are 18 and older. Winner will be selected in a random drawing. The winner will receive four tickets to see Cavalia on Saturday, Dec. 22 at 8 p.m. PST. Approximate retail value of tickets: $438. Click the PDF above for complete Official Rules.

Through this Year and I thought about how much my husband, daughter and my 6 year old grandson would be thrilled to see this show. The first time I heard about this show I wanted to see it however, I can not afford it. I don't remember the last time my husband and I have gone out on the town for a night. My daughter is a single parent and she does not get any help from the dad so any extra money she gets goes for her sons school and day care. These tickets would be the high light of the year for us. I know there are many people on hard times and I always try to give what I can to those people that are having hard times as I truly believe that what goes around comes around but this time it would really mean so much to me to see this show. Thank you for the opportunity to win these tickets. God bless
for my b-cell NHL LYMPHOMA, (year 2010, six-rounds of chemo, but hooray, i've been declared CURED of the cancer, not just in remission). Have been unable to do something this/THAT special for him since. Plus, he has two nice friends, who've been aking him to 'take me out to dinner' with them, but i've paid my way long... So, having the other two tickets to share with them, would be a great way to show my appreciation for their unconditional acts of kindness. Plus, i've volunteered at the Super Great Horse Rescue Charity "the HORSES OF TIR NA NOG, [over there in GUATAY, s.d.; east county}, and seeing all their 'rescues', it'd just be GREAT to see these Gallant, Strong, Healthy Horses in their prime.
The winner of this contest is Daria Linton! Thanks everyone for playing! Check out Patch next week for a Loews Coronado Bay giveaway! Hoa
