When’s the last time you took Fido out with you on a hike? Take him on an adventure this weekend at the .
The city holds dog hikes the first Sunday of each month through March 2012. The hikes are both free and informative for you and your pooch. Dogs and their owners will walk the trails of Blue Sky Ecological Reserve and learn about canine trail safety and etiquette, so you’ll be more comfortable to take your furry friend out with you more often when you take a walk.
You’ll also learn about the potential dangers from wildlife on the trail hike, pet disaster planning and more. All pets are welcome, as long as they are well-behaved, get along with other pooches and are on a leash. Please make sure your leash is no longer than six feet.
