SAN DIEGO WALK FOR WILLIAMS SYNDROME

  • What's Up: The Williams Syndrome Association (WSA) will host a walk at Old Poway Park. Proceeds will benefit individuals and families affected by Williams Syndrome. 
  • When: 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 4. 
  • Where: Old Poway Park, 14134 Midland Rd # A, Poway.
  • Price: $20-$50. 

CHALK IT UP

  • What's Up: Rancho Bernardo Community Council will host Chalk It Up. The family event will feature drawing competitions, prizes, refreshments and more. 
  • When: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 4. 
  • Where: Rancho Bernardo Community Park, 18448 W Bernardo Dr, Rancho Bernardo. 
  • Price: Free. 

POWAY LIBRARY CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION

  • What's Up: Celebrate Poway Libary's 100th birthday. The celebration will include performances from Twin Peaks Middle School Jazz Band and the Valley Elementary Ballet Folklorico. 
  • When: 11 a.m on Saturday, May 4. 
  • Where: San Diego County Branch Libraries, 13137 Poway Rd, Poway.
  • Price: Free. 

LABRADOR RESCUERS CASINO NIGHT

  • What's Up: Labrador Rescuers will host a Casino Night. The evening will include casino games, raffles, dinner, music and more. Proceeds will benefit Labrador Rescuers. 
  • When: 5 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, May 4. 
  • Where: Rancho Bernardo Swim & Tennis Club, 16955 Bernardo Oaks Drive, Rancho Bernardo.

DOGS UNITE AT BLUE SKY

  • What's Up: Attention families with dogs, the Blue Sky Ecological Reserve will host a dog walk through the trail. 
  • When: 8 a.m. on Sunday, May 5. 
  • Where: Blue Sky Ecological Reserve, 16275 Espola Rd, Poway.
  • Price: Free. 

TABLETOPS AND TEA: A TEA FOR ALL SEASONS

  • What's Up: Rady Children's Hospital Auxiliary (RCHA) Poway Unit will host a fundraising event to benefit diabetes and Endocrinology. The event, Tabletops and Tea will feature a luncheon and tea. 
  • When: 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 5. 
  • Where: Rancho Bernardo Inn, 17550 Bernardo Oaks Dr, Rancho Bernardo.
  • Price:  $75 per person; $750 for 10 person table.
