When the going gets tough in the economy, apparently shoppers start clipping! Normally, Patch tells you where to find the deals in Poway but we're aware that many people buy online too. In fact, more than 49 million Americans are "clipping" online coupons. In 2010, marketers distributed 332 billion coupons and the use of digital coupons has become so popular that 7 out of 10 shoppers have used coupon websites, according to a recent study of coupon use from Coupons.com. The rest of us are watching Extreme Couponing on TLC in awe. But it doesn't have to be time consuming or hard to save.

DealRadar.com

This site offers a valuable service. It monitors nearly 100 deal-a-day sites in the US, UK, Canada and Australia. The benefit to deal-seekers is less emails and loads of local deals sent right to your email daily.

KidsCause.com

This deal-a-day program  partners with school foundations, non-profits, and other charities that provide kids of all ages with education, food, beds, homes, healthcare and other services. Half of their profits are donated to kids’ charities.
